The Ohio General Attorney's Office reports on two major human trafficking busts in central Ohio.

At the end of February 2025, two communities in the greater Columbus area have been the target for crime. Last week, a massage parlor in Marysville was searched by police and BCI.  It is now under investigation for human trafficking. On March 3, 2025, in Fairfield County, another massage parlor was searched.

Cracking down on human trafficking has been a priority for Attorney General Dave Yost. He told 10TV's Lacy Crisp in this interview, it happens in all communities, rich or poor, big or small. He says the state is helping set up task forces to combat the problem. Massage parlors are a priority.  The number of task forces in Ohio has doubled working on this issue.

if you think there's human trafficking going on in your area, there is a hotline you can call to report it right now.
